Purpose of this site

This site exists to share the Alberta Tobacco Control and Nicotine Prevention Network's positions, publications, and references on tobacco and nicotine policy in Alberta. It is intended for adults and community stakeholders, including educators, health professionals, parents, and members of the public who follow Alberta legislation.

Not medical or legal advice

Nothing on this site is medical or legal advice. If you have a health concern about yourself or someone in your care, talk with a primary care provider. If you have a legal question about Alberta legislation or your obligations under it, talk with a lawyer or qualified advisor.

No sale of products

We do not sell tobacco, vapour, or nicotine products. We do not sell any other products through this site. We do not accept advertising on this site.

Information you send us

When you use the join form on this site, your email client sends your responses directly to us. We do not store form data on this site. We only use the information you send to keep you on our informational mailing list and to understand where in Alberta our network has support.
